Dog of the Month

Dog’s name: Hawi…like Cher or Prince, no last name required. He is a brand all himself.

Dog’s birthday: Unknown, but we adopted him on December 31, 2013 

How did you obtain your dog? He was rescued from DFW Lab Rescue. 

How old was your dog when you got him/her? Approximately one year old.

Dog’s favorite food? Anything that will fit into his mouth…but if we must get specific, cinnamon Chex, Salmon treats & Baked Chicken with Parsley & Dill. On another note, his favorite beverage is toilet water (NOT the cold filtered water).

Cutest thing your dog does? Digs holes in a crazed frenzy for reasons unclear, but only if someone is watching. Terrible eye – snout coordination when it comes to seeing food fall to the floor.

Smartest thing your dog does?  He knows who the “weakest link” in our family is for food hand-outs.

Anything else you would like to share about your dog: We have only had him for not quite a year and he is already a member of the clan. Lover of all dogs.  Wary of new people.  Convinced one day he will catch a squirrel although not sure what he would do if he caught one. Absoultley LOVES going to play group and training.
